Whitepapers are more than just reports on industry issues. An informative, well-researched whitepaper is actually an excellent marketing tool. When you release a whitepaper, you’re establishing yourself as an industry authority at the same time, thereby elevating yourself in the eyes of the customer, who will take your insights with them the next time they shop around for a new product.
Some clients will always want to hear from people who have actually bought your product. They want to hear about how you met a challenge (that happens to be similar to their own) and solved it with flying colors. One great case study can sell as many products as an entire team of salesmen.
